I tried this program when I first heard about it and to be honest, I can't
see what the fuss is about..... it doesn't even manage to do what it's
supposed to do... (atleast, it didn't on any of my machine's)

I know I'm probably wrong, I just like taking part ;o)

For those who are technically savvy it probably "isn't" that great a
program. But for those of us who aren't really sure about how to do/find
things it's a big help. I found so many things on there that I didn't know
were on there and wouldn't have been able to find, otherwise. The only
drawback I could see for a newbie is that (on my system, anyway) a lot of
the files it found couldn't be loaded...that was a disappointment. But at
the same time a lot of them COULD. Now they are gone. It's a fair program
for the novice.

It's amazing what this program can find on your computer...worth a look.

Aside from the fact that they share your personal information "We
provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or
with Red Dragon under confidentiality agreements." (spammers)
Their is an intrusive survey during the installation. There is also a
requirement to register the product. This program is set to expire in
1 year.

Ooops. Sorry for the self followup.
On uninstall, this program makes another attempt to access the
internet to "Unregister the product" I'm glad I chose to not register
it during install.
More and more like a piece of sh*t software.
But that's just one mans opinion.

Yep. During install, I simply clicked past the survey...didn't take part.
Nor did I register it. I didn't know about the privacy policy till later.
Someone mentioned it. I should have looked for that first thing. You can set
up message rules, etc, but yeah, apparently it 'shares'. If we all had the
same opinion what would be the point in having newsgroups? <g>
