Exposed hyperlink code

I'm not sure what button combo I hit, but I can no longer type Web addresses
or e-mails in Microsoft Outlook without it turning into a bunch of code.

For example, whenever I type

www.msn.com

into an Outlook message and hit "Enter", it automatically reverts to

{HYPERLINK "http://www.msn.com"}

I can remove the exposed code by backspacing, but that kills the hyperlink
as well.

And I'm not sure how to fix it, considering I'm not sure what I did in the
first place...

Help?
