Exporting to Word

Hi,
i have a database which is a Lawyer Referral Service. I
would like to take the saved case information from a table
and send it to a fax form template i have saved in word.
i ran a macro which the action is "Transfer Text" -
transfer type is "Export Word for Windows Merge."
However, when i run this macro, i get a message
saying "Cannot Update. Database or object is read-only."
Anyone have any idea how i can get the information from my
table to my merge document in word?

Why not setup the merge from Word itself to Access, rather than use Access
and a macro to send the data to Word. Create a query that you can specify a
particular case or all the cases and use this query as the data source from
Word.

Your error messages is most likely caused from incorrect permissions.
