I am currently using an accounting software program that interfaces with
Access. We recently upgraded the software to the next version as well as
upgraded from Access 2000 to 2002 as required. We have the ability to preview
reports from the accounting software as well as export them to Word for
editing. Since the upgrade, the reports do not export correctly but they look
the way they should when choosing print preview.
The problem is some of formating changes slightly. For example, things do
not line up correctly because tab positions change. Also, the documents are
Arial 10 point. However, if you begin to type in the document, the new
information automatically changes to 12 point.
The software does allow the user to make changes to the reports using access
which I basic familiarity with. Is there a way to ensure the formatting
remains the same when exporting?
Thanks, Samantha
