Exporting to word misses off data

I have an access 2007 database that runs a report that includes several memo
fields which are in several different sections of the report. The report
works fine and showes all the data. We sometimes have to export the report
to word and it normally does a very good job. sometimes some users are
finding that the last few words in the memo field are missing from the
exported RTF document. The memo fields can contain any amount of data up to
a few thousand characters and there seens to be no pattern as to which
fields are missing the data. the users most affected by this seem to be
Windows 7 users as opposed to XP users.

If the export is missing the data re-exporting on the same PC does not
rectify the problem. Changing the front end file has no affect. The data is
in a SQL server and the front end uses linked tables.

Has anyone seen this behaviour or knows how to get around it.

Thankyou for any help

Thank you Allen.
This is not the 255 character truncation issue. This is a reoprt being
exported to MS Word. Some of the memo fields have several thousand
characters and only truncate the last 20 to 50 characters. Also the same
front end database file works fine on PC's running windows XP or vista. It
just appears to be a problem when run on a Windows 7 PC.

Then it may be in driver issue.

When you export a report, Access uses the printer driver metrics to
calculate the layout (including the space required to display a text box.)
Assuming you have set Can Grow to Yes for both the text box and the section
of the report, a faulty printer driver could cause the space to grow
inadequately.

This is definitly a windows 7 issue.
If I RDP onto the Windows 7 PC from an XP or Vista PC I can not replicate
the problem. As soon as I RDP from a windows 7 PC the problem occures. This
happens if I RDP onto the remote Windows 7 PC taking the same session as
before with the report already open and just re-export the report the
behaviour changes.

?????

I have tried different printers with no difference.
