exporting to text

When exporting a query or a table to text and using file extension of csv
dates get converted wtih format of date/time. Example: 12/19/2005 0:00:00.
Currently I have to find and replace to correct the csv file. Is there a way
to automate the export to the correct format?
 
The behavior that you see is by design.... that is how the ACCESS text file
export feature works for date/teim values.

To get the format that you desire, you must use a Format function in a
calculated field in a query in order to fix the date/time format that you
want, and then export the query.
