Hi Juan
I have included below the instructions to import, modify your file in excel,
and to upload subscribers in List Builder. Please follow the guidelines and
you'll be all set.
To export file from Business Contact Manager:
1. On the File menu, point to Import and Export, and then click Business
Contact Manager.
2. Click Export a file, and then click Next.
3. Select the type of file that you want to export to, and then click Next.
Note: To export a file to use in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word, select
Comma Separated Values (.csv).
4. Follow the instructions in the Business Data Import/Export wizard.
To get assistance completing a page in the wizard, click Help on that page.
Note: Data exported from Business Contact Manager for Outlook to the .csv
format is separated by commas, regardless of the list separator found on
your Regional Options tab.
After you export the list, please modify your data in Excel file.
1. Open the Excel that contains your subscriber list.
2. Make sure that each column is labeled (email address, first name, last
name, and so on.).
3. If you have any columns that you do not wish to import, delete them.
4. If you have interest groups, add a column for each one. For example, if
you have three interest groups, create three columns and enter the name of
the interest group as a heading.
5. Do one or both of the following:
- For each subscriber that belongs in an interest group, type a 1 in
the column.
- For each subscriber that does not belong in an interest group, type a
0 in the column.
Note Each cell needs to be filled in, so there is either a 1 or a 0 in each
interest group.
6. On the File menu, click Save As.
7. In the Save as type list, click Text (Tab delimited), and then click
Save.
Import your file into List Builder
1. Open your List Builder account, and then click the Manage Subscribers
tab.
2. Click Import addresses.
3. Enter the name of the text file you just created (or browse to find it
on your system).
4. For each column, place a label that you select from the displayed sample
data.
5. Click Finish Import.
To be frank there is not much documentation as far as list builder error are
concerned
Hope this helps
With Regards
