Exporting to Gmail

I want to export my contacts to gmail...instructions in Outlook say to go to
file/import-export...problem is I don't have an import/export option and see
no way to turn it on...I'm using Outlook 2007

Mount your installation CD and add the Importers and Exporters feature.
