Hello,
I'm trying to export a table to an database file, or a .dbf extension. How do I do this within Access 97? I'm doing so that I do not have to waste memory and space on a server to create a new database to hold this table. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Right click the table and choose Export, for Files of Type select the file
type you are needing to export the table to..

Sorry, I probably should have been more clear. I'm trying to do this in a macro. This is something that will have to be done weekly and i'm trying to automate it. Thanks again for your help. And thanks for any other suggetions that are given!

1.
Create a macro using the TransferDatabase action

2.
Use the Windows Task Scheduler to schedule the export on a
specific day/time/frequency. The command would look
something like this. (watch for word wrap)
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE"
"C:\PathToDatabase\database.mdb"/x "MacroName"
