Exporting styles from Word to PowerPoint?

As you already know, as a Word Wiz, PPT doesn't have any awareness of
Styles in PPT or from Word.

Now if you want the commercial message from a friend of Cindy, the
real Word Wiz, I've written an Addin the sort of replicates the
concept of Styles in Word and applies it to PPT. Not exactly the same
but sort of like that. A demo, I did say it was not for free, is
available on the PPTools.com sight under the ShapeStyles Demo label. I
don't actually think it will do what you originally asked but thought
you might like to hear about what can be done here where PPT doesn't
do everything we hoped for.
