Using Access 2002 I am trying to import a report from my
database into word 2002. When I do this I get
duplication of information and sometimes random
information generated within the document, which is not
present in the report.

Please can any one help?

I, also, have had some unusual output when exporting to Rich Text Format
(you can't go directly to Word format). I've had better luck exporting to
HTML -- but it isn't an exact duplicate of the image you see on-screen or
printed from Access.

Hi
I've just spent about a week trying to sort this out.
1. Build a report using Courier as your font, check all the text is still
there after the RTF export, you may need to widen your fields.
2. Keep text aligned, every 0.01 difference would result as a full Tab in
Word.
3. Export to RTF
4. Run a Word macro from Access, in which you:
A. Select all the text and copy it into a new Word doc (using a template
of your choice)
B. Change the font to the one you want
C. Manipulate the text as you wish.

I know this is a lot of hassle, but I've manage to produce great Word docs
like this. the usual RTF export by itself just doesn't seem to work. Maybe
it would be easier to convert an HTML export? or even an XML?

Good luck
