Exporting report gives a registry error message

I try to export a report from a PC and get a registre error in the file
system
All I am doing is to send this report as an email.
I am not sure if the problem is a MS Windows problem or a MS Office-problem

You're going to need to provide a little bit more detail.

How are you exporting the report? Through code or directly? If the former
then what's the code?
And what's the exact error you get?
