Exporting Query from access 2000 to Excel 2000

Hello,

I have a query(1) with Sales for TY$, LY$, TYCS, and
LYCS. It is run off of another query (2), and that query
is run off of another query(3), which is run off of 5
queries joined together. When I export the file to excel
all the numbers are correct except the LYCS. They export
as dates and when I change the format to general or number
it comes as 37925. I've gone back to the original table
and the data type for the quantity is listed as a number.
I don't know what else could be wrong. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Sean

i couldn't guess why, either. but as a workaround, you
might try exporting the query as a text file, and then
opening the text file in excel. if the data shows correct,
you can save the opened file as an xls file at that point.
