Exporting Outlook contacts to Hotmail account

How can I export my Outlook 2000 contacts to a hotmail account? Hotmail apparently wants the imported file to be in .csv format and when I export from Outlook 2000, it is not an option to save it as a .csv file. If anyone knows how to do this, please advise.

How are you trying to export? Have you tried File-Import and Export-Export
to a file-Comma separated values (Windows) and then choosing your contacts
folder? (I'm now using Outlook 2002 but I am sure that will be the same in
outlook 2000)
