Exporting Names and Addresses to Outlook

Hey there.

From Outlook, I have tried to import data from Excel into
a Contacts list...but when I go to do so, an error message
in the Outlook Import/Export Wizard pops up telling me to
name the range of data in Excel I'd like to import.

When I go to Excel and search the help menu, nothing
works....

Help help!

Don't know about Outlook, I have OE (6). From which I can do File --
Export -- Address Book -- Text File (CSV) -- Export. Save As eg: "Test",
then there's a dialog to specify which fields to include. The next step is
File -- Open in Excel, with Files of Type = Text Files.

Unless you mean you want to go *from* Excel *to* Outlook. To name a range in
Excel, select it then Insert -- Name -- Define. But I'm not aware of any eg:
File -- Export option in any Excel version.
