Exporting more than 255 columns from Access

I need to export a largde amount of fields from Access into Excel. But a get
an errormessage (Errno: 3190) telling me there are too many fields (i.e >
255) defined in the query.
Any tips on how to export more than 255 fields into the same Excel worksheet?

I don't see how you could accomplish this :-(

Not only Access tables can't hold more than 255 fields, Excel sheets
can't have more than 255 columns either!
