Is there a way to get the background audio files from Photostory and use
them in WMM?

No that's not what I'm asking. I'm talking about the actual audio files you
can apply to your project. I would like to use some of those for my project
in MM.

To use the audio files in WMM you simply import them using the "Import audio
or music" line on the Movie Tasks from the location where you have them
stored on your hard drive. Once imported, drag them to the Audio/Music line
and position them to play in your movie when you want it to begin and end.

If you can't find the files because you don't know its name, you need to
search for them. You can see their location (if they are available in Photo
Story 3) by opening PS3 and then going to where the audio files are placed
in the video you are creating and looking at the file structure listed
there.

Thanks LVTravel. I'll check that out.

Hello again LV - unfortunately that doesn't work. It looks like the files
are in aud format and not wma or wav. Any suggestions on how to convert
those?

Thanks

As I understand your question...you wish to
use the custom music created in Photo
Story 3...in a Windows Movie Maker project.

Begin by creating a project in PS3 that has
the music background that you require.
Import the PS3 .wmv movie file into Movie
Maker and drag it to the Audio/Music track.
(Be sure the file is dragged all the way to
the left or it will begin with dead air)

Now...go to...File / Save Movie File / My
Computer / Next / Next / Next...

The result with be a .wma Audio file.

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply and I'll try your suggestion but is there a way to do
it without creating a PS project?
