Forgive me if I've posted twice. The first just
dissapeared and I couldnt tell if it sent or not.
I'm a new user,in an old body,so type slowly and loudly.
As I was advised I created an alternate non-Administrator
account in XP for surfing the web, though I do not really
comprehend the reason for doing so.
I use Favorites to go directly to websites and type as
little as possible. The problem is that when I tried to
export my favorites from the Administrator account to
Favorites in the user account, that option was not
available, so I placed it in "my documents". This is not
at all satisfactory. Is there a way to copy "favorites"
from my Administrator account to the user account ?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

OK -

To copy favorites:

Log on as administrator.
go to start button and open My computer.
browse to :
c:\documents and settings\administrator
right click on the Favorites folder, and choose copy.

Now browse to :
c:\documents and settings\<new username>
go to Edit menu and choose Copy.
Say Yes to All when asked if you want to overwrite files.

Now log on as your new username and your favorites should
reflect the change.

You need to import that file in the new account the same way you exported
it - File - Import & Export and follow the wizard.
