Exporting Excel data to Outlook Distribution list

I want to convert an Excel database of names and contact
information to an Outlook Distribution list. When I use
the Outlook Imort Export file tool, it tells me I ahve to
specify a range to imprt in Excel. I can't figure out how
to specify the range. It also does not let me choose to
put the results into a Distribution list. Any ideas?

You cannot import into a DL, only the Contacts Folder.
