Good morning,

As part of our archival process, we would like to have a
quick reference to all project emails received in hard
copy form (summarizing with date/time, from, to, subject
only). The closest I come to is exporting individual
project email folders as csv file into an Excel
spreadsheet. The problem is that the time/date for the
email is that even though Excel provides columns for
date/time, the cells are left blank. I have been rekeying
this info as it is a necessary part of archiving.

Any suggestions or assistance with tis problem is greatly
appreciated.

THANKS!

Quick and dirty method:

1. Use a table view to display all the data fields that you want to export
to Excel.
2. Choose Edit | Select All.
3. Choose Edit | Copy.
4. Paste to Excel.

Also see http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm for tools that can
workaround the lack of a date export in Outlook.
