Does anyone know if mappoint will allow me to import a list of locations and
draw
me a route in the order in which they are stored/imported in the table; point
A , Point B, and so on...

I don't have mappoint, and can't get a demo, and don't want to comit to a
purchase until i can be sure it will do this accurately. (fed up spending
money on software that doesn't deliver what it promises) I have tried it in
Autoroute 2006, and it takes the data in, but for some inexplicable reason,
runs the route either backwards or in no particular order. result is less
than useless..., so i thought maybe MapPoint would do the job as it seems
aimed a the more 'professional' market.

Perhaps importing won't give you the control you need, but MapPoint
has a full object model that you can use with VBA code in Access. We
have "pushed" lists of address locations into MapPoint
programmatically. Although we have not automatically created routes
using VBA, I would think it is possible.
