Exporting contacts from a public folder

When I try to export contacts from a public folder, they are not an option
in the dialogue window to select folder from which to export, only personal
folders. How can I accomplish this?

Copy the folder to your own mailbox and export from there. Otherwise, you'd
have to write custom code or use a third-party application. See

How about not being able to export the mailing address? I can't believe that
the mailing address indicator is not exportable and that it is parsed as one
field when you do a merge to Word.

What file format are you exporting to? I'm not sure I understand exactly
what problem you're describing.
