I'm attempting to create a several reports that need to be
saved as Word documents. This was a request by the user so
she can send the Word doc to the client.

Every time I attempt to export (or publish) reports
containing charts, I receive a blank page when it saves as
a Word doc. Is there a different way to save a chart from
Access to Word other than using the 'Publish in Word'
option?

Thanks in advance.

The only built-in export format that will retain _any_ graphical objects is
Snapshot Format. Another alternative is to use a PDF writer to create a
PDF file for distributing. Stephan Lebans has a free utility that embeds
the Snapshot Format output into an RTF file. While still not fully
editable, it can be edited to a degree and doesn't require that the user
install a separate viewer program.
