Exporting a Table to Excel (Creating an .xls file)

My company provided laptop was recently upgraded to Office XP. This morning
I went to export a table to a .XLS (Excel) file, but the Excel format was
not one of the file "Save As" options. I checked the install, and it
appears Access is fully installed (everything is set to run from the local
machine). Access XP help says that the Excel format should be available.

Did I miss a setting somewhere?!
