One method that should work would be to install Outlook (same version) on
the Vista setup, export your mail messages to Outlook and copy the PST file
to XP and open it using Outlook. For the account information, just use the
capability in Windows Mail under Tools/Accounts to export the account info
as an IAF file and import that info into Outlook Express. The passwords
will probably not be retained since they are stored in different locations
in Windows Mail and Outlook Express.
Alternatively, you can drag/drop all the messages from Windows Mail as EML
files into a folder you create on your Desktop. Then save that folder or
send it to your XP setup and reverse the drag/drop from the folder into
Local folders in Outlook Express. Account info will still need to be
handled using IAF files.
