Export to Excel

Using Office 2007 on Win XP;

The export to XL button is grayed out for reports; what is the work around
or fix for this?

NB: I would prefer not to export to a text file or html as my users really
need XL.

You cannot export Reports to Excel in A2007. You can export the report's
underlying query.
