The database I have built will sometimes be accessed through a Terminal
Server with no printers installed. I cannot see the reports. But can I
export them to, let's say a WORD document without opening them?

Off-hand, I'd say no.

Unless something has changed recently that I haven't tested yet, Access
reports require a printer to run. Exporting a report to a Word document
requires a printer, but you should be able to export a query to Word though
automation and either use Bookmarks in Word or a merge and run a Word
report.

Why not just put a dummy printer on the Terminal Server? It doesn't require
an actual machine, just the "printer device" (a loaded driver).

I even suggested a PDF printer to the department running the TS but they
simply say: "NO. READ OUR LIPS; NO PRINTER!!"

:-p
