If I try to cut & paste into a graphics program (I tried Photoshop and
Paint) I get a low resolution image (96 dpi), suitable for viewing on
screen, but not for printing.

How can I get an hi-res image, in gif or (better) EPS format?

Thanks in advance,

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

I have two methods to suggest. I am not sure about the resolution, so you
will have to try and experiment. I would think that they would print fine.
Using Method B, I have created paper text manuals and the graphics printed
fine on a laser.

Method A Camera (XL tool).

1) Right mouse a tool bar
2) Customize
3) Commands
4) Tools
5) Find Camera and drag it to a toolbar
6) Select your area of interest
7) Hit the camera button
8) Paste it wherever you want.

Method B SnagIt

Snagit is an inexpensive graphic program that allows you to take screen or
portions of a screen capture.

You can learn more about it here: http://www.techsmith.com/default.asp.

I hope this is beneficial.

Regards,
Kevin
