Export query result to .xls file

Hi,
I created a query that combines field values from several tables. I would
like to give the user the option to export the result as an Excel file (to
be used for mail merges). How can I customize the File\Export function so
that only the Excel type is available? Thanks for your help. CO
 
Why dont you just use the Docmd.Transferspreedsheet to
export to Excel ?
