Export messages from Outlook Express to Outlook Hangs

When exporting messages from Outlook Express to Outlook the process hangs 1/2
way through. I have 5000 messages in the inbox to export and it hangs at
~2000. I've tried 2-3 times and get the same outcome. Any thoughts?

Tell me now: Are you using the export function from Outlook Express? If yes,
why aren't you asking in an Outlook Express newsgroup? Those people are the
ones that can tell you how Outlook Express works.

As a workaround, how about moving your messages so that there is only 1500
messages in the Inbox, and see if the export of smaller hunks of messages works.
