Export/import deleted items .pst file

I apologize if this has already been addressed - couldn't find an entry for
it. Want to move all Outlook files to a new PC. I exported deleted files to a
..pst file on my old PC's hard drive (password protected it). It was a big
file so burned to CD, sneakernetted to the new PC, tried to import it with
the imp/exp wizard, selected the .pst file, and then got message: "File
access denied. ou do not have the permisison required to access the file
xxx.pst." Any ideas as to where I went wrong. This procedure worked just fine
for my contacts (though it was a much smaller file obviously).

Copy the PST to your hard drive and remove the read-only attribute from it
then try the import again
