both export and inport take about 5 hours using a 2.0 flash drive. File size
is 1,115,025KB (which seems vey large considering the number of entries in
the calendar). I am running XP Pro and Outlook 2003. I have compressed the
Outlook.pst file. This phenoma just started a few weeks ago. Any suggestions
on how to shorten the time?

Why are you exporting? As posted in all the Outlook groups on a DAILY
basis - just CLOSE Outlook and COPY your pst file.

rather than export, open a pst in one outlook, copy the calendar to it then
close the pst. open it on the other computer, copy the items into the
calendar.

if the pst is not too big for the drive I'd just copy the entire pst to the
flash drive and copy the calendar out of it.

The file was so corrupted I couldn't even print from it; I punted and started
anew, losing all my history.

Could you be more specific about the steps you described in the below post?

I only want to sync the calendar, not mail or contacts.
