Export from Outlook XP into Outlook Express

I have recently bought a laptop, and have decided to use Outlook Express
instead of Oulook XP, which I used on my previous computer. Now I would like
to export the messages I have in Outlook XP on my old computer, and import
these in Outlook Express on my new computer. I have copied the *.pst file
from my old computer, but am not able to "import" this one in Outlook Express
on my new one. Could anyone help? Is it possible at all?

Not possible. Only Outlook can open a PST file.
OE can then import from Outlook.

I doscovered ow to do this.
I installed OE on my old computer and imported the messages into it. I
thereby got my *.dbx files which I transferred to my new computer. Eureka.. I
now have all my emails in OE on my new computer.

Then you weren't even posting in the right group. You never were using
Outlook if your messages were in DBX files.
