I would like to export certain day (for example July 1 to September 30) into
a .pst file so I can import them on another computer. Both computers are
running Outlook 2000. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Copy those days appointments to another folder, export that folder and
import that on the other machine

I have also been trying to do this. When I try to import to the new computer,
I get an error message telling me "Properties for this information service
must be defined prior to use" followed by "File access is denied. You do not
have the necessary permissions to access this file". Any thoughts on how I
can avoid this?

First, never import a PST into Outlook. Just use File>Open>Outlook Data
File. Second, PSTs must be writable. Put the PST on your hard drive and
remove the read-only attribute (i.e., right-click, choose Properties and
uncheck "Read-only" at the bottom). Then try to open the file.
