exponential trendline gray

I want to fit datapoint on a chart.
'Linear', polynomial are possible,
but 'power' and 'exponential' are gray
and not activated. How can I activate these
options?

Excel uses a log transform of the original data when fitting those
functional forms, so the data must be positive values.

A workaround is to add a constant to each value so that the new values are
positive.
