My explorer does not respond whenever I go to certain
sites. I can go to Classmates.com...and can access most
of the features, but explorer "freezes" whenever I go to
the message center. It also freezes up on other
applications too. I have no clue what is wrong.

Check your Java Support, if still no joy then post the error message if you
can.
Check on this site as it will tell you what version you have and you should
be able to get what you need.

If you have both SUN and MS Java then make sure only MS is active.
