I know this is an easy one but how do you make explorer keep open more than
8 windows instead of holding them in one icon on the toolbar so you have to
click it and select the one site you want??

Right click the taskbar, and untick group similar taskbar icons

Right click on Start, click on properties, select the Taskbar tab, uncheck
"Group similar taskbar buttons," click OK.
 
In rereading, I suspect I have addressed a taskbar issue. If I am in error,
please disregard.
