Hi -- my explorer is giving me a problem when I double
click it. It says its experienced a problem when I double
click on it and asks to send an email to microsoft support.
I've used Norton to check I've no viruses and run a my doom
killer on it and mydoom isn't present. I've also tried to
reinstall explorer... no joy.

I'm now surfing the web with firebird -- any one know how I
fix m explorer?

To test with: Disable third-party browser extensions in Internet
Explorer
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser extensions
(requires restart) check box.
5. Restart Internet Explorer.

If this helps, read here for further troubleshooting:

I am having the same problem. I just had high speed internet installed yesterday. I keep getting the message "Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close". anyone got any ideas of hwhat to do. Microsoft wants to charge me $245 an incident to help me fix this.
Help!
