In my normal boot, my Explorer doen'st open. I can't open
Internet explorer, My Computer or Windows Explorer. In
safe boot though, I everything works fine. It seems like
something is loading in Normal Startup that explorer
doesn't like. How can I find out what?
Thanks.

Dijait,
From IE> Tools> Internet Options
or
Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third party
browser extensions."

If IE then functions, go to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm and
start working through the solutions.

Or, run msconfig. Look at the Startup tab for suspicious entries. Uncheck
any suspicious entries, restart, see if IE opens.

Regards,
Don

Dijait,

To test with: Disable the tool bands and Browser Helper Objects features:

1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer
2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Internet Options.
4. Click the Advanced tab.
5. Under Browsing, click to clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
6. Restart Internet Explorer.

If this solves the problem, then the problem is caused by a malware BHO attached with explorer. Spot the BHO using BHODemon and delete it.

Then, download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system

1. Start Ad-Aware.
2. In the main screen, Click [Check for Updates] [Connect] and download the latest pattern file if available. and click Finish
3. Click Star | Next (System will now detect the spyware)
4. After the scan is finished, click "Next"
5. Select all the items (checkboxes)
NOTE: Right click on any object in the "Scan result" list and choose [Select all objects]"
6. Click Next and click OK to confirm spyware removal.

Thanks to you both. I'll give it a try. Keep my fingers
