I have a file server that when anyone logs into it the window for system32
opens up. I have logged into the server, closed the window and immediately
rebooted the server to no avail. I have checked the registry for a listing
for it and did not find one. I was looking for something with a command line
"explorer.exe \windows\system32". Am I looking for the right thing in the
right place?

thanks,

"System32 Folder Opens When Logging on to Windows XP, Windows 2000,
or Windows NT 4.0"

It is possible, but not necessarily, that this is the result of
malware manipulation of the registry. That should be thoroughly
investigated and ruled out IMHO.
