Explorer Size.

Why does my explorer size keep reverting to small when it should stay the
same size as it was when I closed it? I have 'Windows Explorer', 'Control
Panel', 'Network Connections' and 'Printers and Faxes' Explorers keep
reverting every now and then to small size even though I constantly close
them at large size. And also in 'Windows Explorer' I've had some of the
columns disappear like 'Date Picture Taken' and 'Dimensions'. It's becoming
really annoying having to keep going over the same things again and again
all the time.

Windows Explorer, or Internet Explorer?

A few options:

Whichever shortcut you are using to launch the window, right click it and
select properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down, choose "Maximized".

If the window still opens small, try this next:

First, *close all other windows*. Now, grab the corners of the window and
drag it to full screen size. Close the window using File>Close, or File>Exit
depending what program you're in. Windows will remember the last screen size
used the next time you open the program.

If still no joy, check out these free downloads.

Windows Explorer, Control Panel, Network Connections, Printers and Faxes.
They all keep reverting to a small window with some columns in Windows
Explorer even missing.
Many thanks, but what about Control Panel, Network Connections, Printers and
Faxes. I can't do the same with them.
