I have update notification on ... have succesfully installed Update 1;
however, the update icon still shows in the tray and lists Update 1 as
available for download. In other words, the update install apparently did not
work even though I was told it was successful.
Since the update, Windows Explorer hangs when accessing my E drive (three
SCSI drives ... C, D, E). When I go to the Win98 and WinXP networked
machines, I can see and access all three drives on the Win 2000 Server with
both read and write capabilities.
I have done some searching on this newsgroup and it appears the update
function is not working right. But I cannot find anyone who has the same
problem as I do.
Any input/comments/advice would be greatly appreciated. Note: I have
reinstalled Windows 2000.
Thanks in advance ...
