Upon exiting the explorer I get the following message:
ACROBAT IEHELPER : IEXPLORER.EXE
APPLICATION ERRORT
The instruction at "0x020D3795" referenced memory at "0x01a5ad58" the memory
could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program.
Could any one help out with this problem? I do not want to format my laptop.
It is very annoying.
Thanks to you all and happy new year

Hi,
The browser add-on for Adobe Acrobat Reader is causing this problem.

You might try (from Adobe Reader) Edit> Preferences> Internet> uncheck all 4
options. PDFs will then open in Adobe Reader- not IE.

If running XP SP2, go to IE> Tools> Manage add-ons and uncheck the Adobe BHO
(add-on.)

These steps may help:
Uninstalling/reinstalling Adobe Reader.
Letting Adobe Reader check for and install updates.
[WindowsXP] Upgrading to Adobe Reader 7.

Hope this helps,

Hi Don,
I followed your steps by the book, but did not work, I think that my best
bet is to follow your next step to uninstall and reinstal adobe.
Thanks any way

Hi,
It's still likely that an add-on (BHO) is causing this. If running [XP] SP2,
go to IE> Tools> Manage add-ons and disable all non-microsoft add-ons. Does
the error disappear? If not running SP2, try BHODemon from
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3550.html to safely disable BHOs.

Another third-party program may be causing this. Try disabling (briefly, as
a test) any ad-blocking, privacy, security programs or toolbars that are
running.
