Hi all! W2K SP4 - IE6 Sp1 - All updates are installed.
I am not sure if this is an IE or OE issue, or one related to W2K, so please
excuse the post if it is in the wrong venue.
I have recently installed a new hard drive, and installed W2K with SP4 onto
it. The only two primary programs I have installed with it are MS Office
2002 XP and Corel Draw Graphic Suite 11. I use the Outlook Express for my
e-mails and newsreader.
I have begun having problems with IE crashing several times a day, just
hanging up, and sometimes even ctrl+alt+del will not work requiring me to
shut down using the power off button. It has been happening mostly while in
OE, but, it has happened a couple of times while I was moving/copying data
files from the WinME drive to the new W2K drive. The problem occurs in both
the Administrator and User log-ons.
I am using the Quote-Fix utility for OE, and wondering if perhaps this might
have something to do with the crashing when in OE?
I would truly appreciate any suggestions or input.
