When I click on any desktop icon I get a winexplorer.exe
error. I can look for files by clicking the widows
explorer icon but not the My Computer icon. Any ideas on
how to fix this?

Thanks,
Sean

Does the error actually reference a file named Winexplorer.exe, or does it
reference Explorer.exe. Winexplorer.exe is not a Microsoft file and may be
part of a third party application or virus.
