After I turn on my computer, the computer runs all fine. CPU usage is
at 0%-20% normally, But if I run Windows Explorer. in the beginning,
it uses only 0% or 1% CPU, but after a few minutes, it jumps to and
stays around 50%. Afterwards the computer becomes not so responsive.
What could be wrong?

Computer config: P4266Ghz. 256M RAM. Fast hard drive and video adaptor.
Windows XP Pro.

You can use Active Ports to review inbound and outbound connections being
made on the machine. You can use Process Explorer to look at running
processes and you can look inside a running process to see what process
is using it, by double-clicking the process.
