explorer.exe error

I keep getting the error event-ID: 1002 when I start
explorer by right clicking START and explorer.

Message is: explorer.exe has generated errors and will be
shut down.

Something like that.

I installed SP4, aal updates from the internetsite but
still no solution.

I know I can reinstall the whole PC but maybe someone here
knows the cure for this problem?

That happened to me. You have a nasty nasty virus. I had to reinstall everything to get rid of it. It even shut down torton. Norton has a new update that has been catching it today on my computer. Good Luck!
