I am running Windows 2000 professional. Since experiencing
a virus/adware attack a few weeks ago and seemingly
resolving the problem w/ norton AV, Adaware, etc. every
time I open a file folder and the close it I get the message:
"explorer.exe has experienced an error and will be closed.
You must restart the program."

Then Dr. Watson generates an error message that says:
"The application, explorer.exe, generated an application
error The error occurred on 07/04/2004 @ 12:07:47.859 The
exception generated was c0000005 at address 07264BC3
(<nosymbols>)".

I changed a couple of other things for security purposes
since the attack:

1) I log in with non-administrator priveliges, however the
problem also occurrs when I log in as administrator as well.

2) I run Norton Anti-virus and Ad-Watch in the background
on start-up.

I'm not really a new user but I feel like one. Can someone
please help?
