explorer.exe error - IE blinks off

When I click on the IE icon, Internet Explorer loads for
about 3 seconds and then clicks off like someone hit the
X in the corner. Then I have to access the internet
using AOL. Have any idea what is wrong. Sometimes I get
an error message, something about Explorer.exe error, but
I can't print it or anything and don't know what it
means. Help!

No offense, but it's difficult to help someone who uses AOL. Those who would
be able to help you can't because they quit using AOL years ago. It causes
too many problems, likes to takeover your system, etc. Your best bet may be
to contact AOL tech support and they may say it's a Windows problem and
blame it on Microsoft. But Microsoft didn't muck up your system by
installing AOL on it. You will have far less troubles if you get a real ISP
and ditch AOL.
