Explorer.exe is eating up 100% Memory.. No idea Why? Its
not Welch. I have tried all the Big fixes and Norton
Antivirus..

Imp:

Windows is running fine in Safe Mode

I have stopped all the services which do not start
autmatically in Safe mode (but do in normal mode)and even
then nothing is working in the normal mode..

Anxiously waiting for any reply..

If you suspect a virus, try another virus scan programs also but your best
bet is to probably extract your data files including your user profile
under documents and settings and then reformat your hard drive and do a
fresh/pristine install. Be sure to virus scan your data files, possibly on
another computer, before you copy them onto your new installation and take
steps to prevent this from happening again which include making sure your
computer is protected by a firewall before you connect it to the internet,
going to Windows Update and installing first service pack and then all
critical updates, and using a quality virus protection program that will
also scan all emails and keep itself up to date as far as virus definitions,

tried replacing explorer.exe with a clean one ?

check for spyware - as MSIE links to explorer both can get hooks onto
them - try adaware and see how much you have and delete it
